When small businesses want to raise finance they have only a very finite number of options and most often this results in a trip to see the friendly local bank manager. In return for signing a ‘personal guarantee’ most banks will usually extend the business whatever credit it needs to grow, but have you ever actually read and understood the terms of this incredibly wordy and complicated document? PROBLEM COMMERCIAL TENANTS
We are frequently instructed by landlords who are having problems collecting rent from their tenants. We are often asked in these situations to commence proceedings to evict the tenants and / or to seek the recovery of the rent arrears. Assuming that the right steps have been followed at the start of the relationship and the appropriate documentation is in place the process is relatively straight forward and easy.
